June 12: Scores of youths protest in Akure, demand good governance

Scores of youths in Akure, the Ondo State capital moved round major streets to mark the June 12 democracy day with a peaceful protest.
The youths in their nunbers took to the street to join their counterparts across the country to demand good governance as well as end to insecurity.
As early as 7:30 am, the youths converged on Post Office Junction  in the state capital chanting  “Buhari must go”.
Armed with placards with various inscriptions, the youths emphasized that the security situation in the country is now at alarming rate as no one is safe in the country anymore.

Some of the placards read “Buhari must go”, No to grandpa’s regime” among others.
