Akeredolu’s Aide, Jimoh Dojumo bags UNILAG Alumni Award

The  Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, on Security Matters, Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo, has  added another feather to his glittering cap.

He has been  conferred with an award of Excellence on Security and Humanitarian Services.

The award was conferred on him on Friday by the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Alumni Association, Ondo and Ekiti chapter led by the Patron, Sir. Femi Ajijala.

Sir Ajijala explained that Dojumo has distinguished himself as SSA to the Governor on Security Matters, describing him as a selfless and committed security expert who has discharged his assigned duties excellently well.

The Secretary, UNILAG Alumni Association, Ondo and Ekiti chapter, Otunba Akin Joye, said the UNILAG Alumni Association award is not easy to come by, saying the awardee has done tremendously well to deserve the prestigious award.

According to him, Dojumo has not only performed excellently well in his duty as SSA to the Governor on Security Matters, he has also contributed immensely to humanitarian services.

The event was attended by the Chief Security Officer to the Governor, CSP Abiola Olawale; the DFA, Government House and Protocol, Mr. Sunday Omirin; the Chief Internal Auditor, Mr. Ariyo Samuel Olu; the Accountant GAD, Taiwo Adedipe, among others.

Speaking after receiving the award, Dojumo dedicated the award to God Almighty and Governor Akeredolu for his total commitment to the security of lives and properties of the people not only in the state but the South-West region.

He appreciated the association for considering him worthy for the prestigious award and recognising Governor Akeredolu’s excellent services through him.
Dojumo also used the occasion to call on all and sundry to join hands with the Governor to ensure the safety and security of all across the state and the South-West region.
While appreciating governor Akeredolu for giving him the opportunity to serve in his government, the SSA equally lauded the Governor Akeredolu for his relentless efforts and standing on the side of the people.

In their separate remarks Abiola Olawale; Mr. Sunday Omirin; Mrs Adedipe Iyadunni and the Secretary to Alh. Dojumo, Mrs. Owolabi Adenike, described the awardee as a father, problem solver, hardworking and selfless leader.
