The Founder of the Christ Living Church Akure, Apostle Sunday Ojuolape has described bad leadership as the major problem affecting the nation’s growth.
The clergyman spoke in Akure at the thirty-fourth anniversary of the church .
Ojuolape said with current situation of things, Nigeria has become a failed state.
According to him, revolution is looming in Nigeria due to the failure of those in position of authority to execute impactful projects in the country.
He lampooned the Nigerian government for failing to provide purposeful leadership for Nigerians who are languishing in hunger on daily basis.
He said, “Our leaders have failed us, they have failed woefully. Things are expensive and people are languishing in hunger.
‘The current government has not in anyway brought succour to the people but rather they have inflicted hardship on Nigerians.
“Our lawmakers have not also helped matters, they are only after their pockets”
He urged President Buhari to block loopholes and ensure that the nation’s resources are used to impact the lives of the citizenry.
The cleric also asked the federal government to address the
fundamental problems of the country through restructuring and devolution of powers.
