Ondo traditionalist cries out over alleged arrest of son by security operatives

A traditionalist, Beatrice Fasooto has raised the alarm over the whereabouts of her son, Dada Ifasooto who was moved to an unknown destination by some men suspected to be security personnel.

Dada, an Ifa priest was said to have been whisked away by security men in Ikere – Ekiti, Ekiti State last Friday.

The hapless woman while speaking with thenewstrack.com in Akure, said his son bundled away to an unknown destination in a security van.

According to her, his son has not committed any offence to warrant his arrest by security personnel.

She said,’ Dada’s neighbour made me to understand that those who came to arrest him came with vehicles with Abuja number plate.

“They told me that DSS was written on the clothes they wore to carry out the operations.

“We have gone to many police stations in Ado-Ekiti and they told us that they didn’t carry out any operation.

‘My son is not a criminal, he is not into any dirty deal, I don’t know why he was arrested. For seven days, I have not been able to reach my son.

“His two phone numbers have been switched off since then. I am begging everybody to help find my son. He is an herbalist.

Mrs  Fasooto appealed to well meaning Nigerians to ensure that her son is released or freed by security agents.

“What offence has he committed that could warrant his arrest? What has he done that security agency will now move him to Abuja?
“I am begging Nigerians to intervene and help me find my son. He must not die in their custody”, she lamented.
