The lawmaker representing Akoko Southeast /Southwest Federal Constituency of Ondo state in the House of Representatives, Hon Ade Adeogun says education and improving the skills of youths of his constituency remains his topmost priority.
The lawmaker spoke at the weekend during a media parley with members of the Ondo State Online Media Professionals held in Akure, the Ondo state Capital.
Adeogun who expressed satisfaction with his performance, said he has been able to affect lives of people of his constituency positively than he met it.
He added that he is determined to ensure that youths in his constituency are well developed so well that they can be self reliant.
According to Adeogun, his regular home coming amidst several initiatives aimed at making life better for his people are in fulfillment of his campaign promises to them.
He added, “What I have done is to give them the opportunity to become qualified enough to seek jobs. Most of them have school certificate and there was no hope. Quite a number of people became motivated enough to sit for WAEC since there is now hope of furthering their education”.
,“I have chosen to concentrate on certain areas; education, skills. Those are the
two areas that I think will affect the level of education. The skills to build a small business environment. Let’s build a skill centre for Ondo state where everyone will come to.”
He said with his performance in the last two and half years,he deserves another four years at the green chamber which he said will be translate to better development of his constituency.
He however concluded that with the cordial relationship among all Ondo State Federal lawmakers at the 9th Assembly, the state will soon benefit immensely from their synergy.
