Ondo Correspondents’ Chapel Holds Maiden Public Lecture/Award Nite Today

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Chapter, is set to hold its maiden public lecture and award nite after two decades of it existence.

Coordinator of the programme, Mr. Bisi Longe disclosed, in Akure, that the event with the theme: Insecurity: Roles of Society and the Media, would hold on Thursday August 19, 2021 in Akure,Ondo state capital.

Longe added that Hon. Joseph Akinlaja, who is a national labour leader and a two-term member of the House of Representatives,  would be the Guest Speaker while  Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu would be the Special Guest of Honour at the event.

According to him, the chapel would confer the tittle of Royal Patron on Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye, His Imperial Majesty, the Olowo of Owo, while Prof.J Oghen, former provost of the Adeyemi College of Education would be the chairman of the occasion.
