The National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) has congratulated the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi over his appointment as the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas .
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had on Tuesday appointed the Akure monarch as the chairman of council of traditional rulers in the state.
The Students’ body described the monarch’s appointment as a testament of his laudable service to the people of Akure and its environs.
According to a statement issued by the Global President of NAOSS, Ayoade Kikiowo, Oba Aladelusi has brought meaningful development to Akure since he ascended the throne.
The statement reads,
We will like to bring to your notice that the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas is automatically the grand patron of the National Association of Ondo State Students.
“Your assumption of this role automatically makes you the grand patron of our great association.
“As a proud Akure son, I cannot be more proud. Your antecedents bear proof of excellent strides as a father figure in Akure and Ondo state generally.
“We look forward to working with you and learning from your wealth of experience and knowledge.
“We also will continue to offer our constructive contributions to the growth and progress of the state which is necessary for your success in your new appointment”.
