Ondo APC loses grassroots politician

A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Ruben Bolorunduro Animola is dead

He was the Atunluse of Afo in his life time.

He died at the early hours of Wednesday, 22nd September, 2021, at the age of 90 years.

Chief Reuben Animola was a devoted member of our party.

He was an astute community leader. He was Supervisory Councilor in the old Owo LGA under the chairmanship of Sir, Michael Adekunle Ajasin.

He was Social Democratic Party chairman in Ose LGA, later he served as Adviser in the LG.

A chieftain of APC from the Ondo North Senatorial District described him  as faithful, loyal and dependable. He was a reliable party man who would be, fully, committed to any course that he believed in.

Pa Animola, as he was fondly called by political associates and his numerous admirers, was a highly forthright, principled and disciplined politician whose words are his bond.

Rt Hon Olabimtan, in his condolence message to the leaders and members of the party at Ondo North Senatorial platform, said the APC has lost a rare gem in Baba Animola, a voice of reasoning and an epitome of the evolution of progressive party politics in Western Nigeria and, in particular, Ondo state.

He said, “On behalf of the Chairman of APC, Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, we present our condolences to Pa Animola’s children, families, the Alafo of Afo, Oba Egunjobi, Afo community, Ireakari people, Ose LGA and members of APC in the state. We shall miss him very much”
