Unvaccinated workers ‘ ll be denied entry into Ondo govt offices from Nov 1

As from November 1, 2021, any worker in Ondo state without evidence of taking COVID-19 vaccination will not be allowed into government’s offices.

The State Head of Service, Pastor Niran Adeyemo dropped this hint at a meeting with top civil servants in Akure.

Represented by Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Segun, the HoS declared this after meeting with the top management staff of the Ministry.

He said presentation of the Covid 19 Vaccination Card and compliance to its protocols were the gateway pass to work places from November 1,2021.

Adeyemo who said those without the vaccination card will not be allowed into the Ministry, vowed to enforce the directive as a means of protecting members of staff.

He reminded them that the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over, but that there is a more deadly variant, hence the need to be vaccinated and to obey the COVID-19 protocols.
