Former National Students’ leader, Timileyin Ayenuro commends Mimiko for rejoining PDP

A former National Students’ Leader, Hon Timileyin Gbenga Ayenuro has commended former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun for rejoining the Peoples Democratic Party.
Mimiko had on Thursday rejoined the PDP shortly after four PDP governors visited him at his country home.
The Governors who visited him were: Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, Nyesom Wike of Rivers state and Okezie Ikpeazu.
Ayenuro, popularly known as Safety in a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Akure, said Mimiko remains a formidable and credible politician in Nigeria.
He said , “I want to commend the decision of the former Governor of Ondo State and National Leader of our party, Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Dr. Olusegun Mimiko to join and pitch his tent with the Peoples Democratic Party to rescue Nigeria from the misrule of the APC and set the country on a path of peace and progress for the benefit of all.
“Former Governor Mimiko has taken the best decision by teaming up with others to rescue our nation’s democracy from this directionless and clueless Government of President Buhari and APC led administration.
He added that the return of former Governor Mimiko to PDP will further strengthen the party and make it more formidable.
The former Vice President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) added, “we all know that Mimiko is a master political strategist that PDP needs now to bounce back to power both in the state and in the country.
“Our leader has returned home and we stand by him in this rescue mission to build the party and our beloved country”.
He urged youths in the state to join this rescue mission and build a better future for themselves.
