Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has received former Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olusegun Mimiko, better known as Iroko, at his residence.
Mimiko was accompanied by a Former member of the house of representatives, Joseph Akinlaja.
Mimiko had last week returned to the PDP shortly after four governors visited him at his country home, Ondo.
The Former Governor who was the leader national leader of the Zenith Labour Party, collapsed all ZLP structures in the eighteen local government areas of Ondo state to join the PDP.
He attended the national convention of the party held on Saturday.
His return to the PDP has been described as a blessing to the party both in Sunshine state and Nigeria due to his political sagacity and acumen.
