Students of the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure have protested over incessant attacks of some of them by miscreants. The protesting students blocked Akure-Ilesha Expressway, thereby creating traffic jam. The students said the protest became imperative in order to make their grievances known to the general public. Efforts made by security agencies to percify the students proved abortive. The students bluntly refused to listen to the security men deployed to the scene. Former President of the institution Students’ Union government, Abram Ezebede said, some students were being terrorised by by suspected hoodlums.
