The former secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Biodun Oyebanji has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Primary election
He polled 101,703 votes to beat other aspirants.
Seven aspirants had shunned the exercise following alleged manipulation of the process by the state government.
