As part of efforts to reposition Sunshine Stars International Football Academy, the management has approved the appointment of Michael Akintunde as it Media Officer.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Chief Executive Officer of the Academy, Divine Ogbonaya.
The statement noted that the appointment is with immediate effect.
Akintunde, a veteran sport journalist with Adaba FM, was one time the Media Officer of the female premiership side, Sunshine Queens FC of Akure and had served in a various sport committees and associations.
“The CEO of Sunshine stars international Football academy , Mr Divine Ogbonnaya has approved the appointment of Michael Akintunde , a seasoned Broadcaster as the Media Head of it’s Football academy.
“Michael Akintunde who started his sports journalism career in 2003 is expected to propagate and build the image of the academy to a reputable height.
His appointment takes Immediate effect,” the statement said.
