A house of representatives aspirant, Hon.Gbenga Kolawole,has rejoiced with Christians in Akoko South West and East Federal Constituency, across the state, Nigeria and the entire world on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
Kolawole who is seeking to represent the people of Akoko south west and east federal constituency on the platform of the people’s Democratic Party, PDP, urged Christian faithful to imbibe and emulate virtues of Jesus Christ.
His Easter message was contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists.
He enjoined Christians to reflect on the teachings and exemplary life of Jesus Christ, adding that,the sacrifice of crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his resurrection should not be in vain.
He therefore called on Christians in Akoko south west and east federal constituency and Nigerians at large to live together in unity love, peace and eschew violence in whatever form
Kolawole who is the only leading PDP aspirant for Akoko south west and east federal constituency seat, promised to change the narrative of representation in the constituency for robust one if given the mandate.
He also congratulated and wished the good people of Akoko south west and east federal constituency a happy Easter celebration
