Osky Integrated CEO, Femi Eniola bags Excellence Award in Agriculture
The Chief Executive Officer of Osky Integrated, Femi Eniola has bagged an Award of Excellence in Agriculture.
Eniola was one of the twenty- one recipients of the special award organised by Ondo State Agribusiness Empowerment Centre.
He was honoured for his contribution to the growth and development of agriculture in the state.
The event was held at the Cocoa Conference hall of the Governor’s office, Alagbaka, Akure.
Eniola is an excellence and success driven entrepreneur with the goal of becoming the biggest name in the aquaculture sector in Africa and he is already being recognized as a disruptor in the sector.
He is also passionate about knowledge transfer because he believes that if you want to go far, you never go alone which is evident in the series of impactful trainings he started giving to the next generation aquaculture experts.
He is the CEO of Osky Catfish Hatchery, Grow-out and Processing Facility; a subsidiary of Osky Integrated Nigeria Limited located in Akure, the capital of Ondo State and Osky Catfish Grow-out Station at the Benin Owena River Basin, Igbara-Oke, Ondo State at Ifedore Local Government Council.
The Company is duly registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) since 2012 and all other regulatory bodies at the State, National and International levels including United States FDA approval which empowers the company to ship processed fish in large quantity to any state in the US.
Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu while presenting the award to him and others, expressed his administration’s commitment to make the state the largest producer of Palm Oil in the country.
He hinted that the state will be on the world map of Palm Oil Production with 70,000 hectares of land that have been allocated to investors for oil palm cultivation and cocoa production.
Governor Akeredolu disclosed that the State Government in its benevolence has embarked on an on-line lending of 2.0 Billion Naira to oil palm farmers via the RED GOLD Initiative.
