And it is on this note that I want to appreciate Comrade Ologun Oluwatuyi, the outgoing President and the incoming Ex-Offcio for playing it right in that regard. The other outgoing executives also deserves commendations for their support in making this a reality.

I also want to congratulate my fellow incoming exco-members; the task ahead is enormous but with sincerity of purpose we can surmount any obstacles. Let us  always have it at the back of our minds that “Focus is important to achievement”. There will be distractions here and there but let us remain focused so that our targets will not be missed.

“To all the clubities, I want to assure you that we will not let you down. We shall strive to consolidate on the achievements of the past excos and even surpass it more than your expectations in these three years ahead of us, God helping us. Our dream is to have a befitting Millennium Senior Staff Club that can stand its own and also compete favourably with other clubs in the country and even worldwide.

“On behalf of all the newly elected executives, I hereby promise this day that you shall witness more achievements in terms of improved quality service delivery with a decent, friendly and tidy environment that is enviable for all Senior Staff to recreate after the day’s job to improve inter-personal relationship in a less formal atmosphere among members and to also provide avenue for cross-fertilization of ideas to enhance operational efficiency in the public service.
