Ondo APC Mourns Adegboro’s demise

It is with great sadness, and an enormous sense of shock, that we received the news of the death of Prince Olu Adegboro. We are obviously devastated at the loss. Chief Adegboro was a fine man, a talented politician, and a loving husband and father to his children.

Prince Olu Adegboro was one of our leaders and members of the elders caucus in the state. He was a thorough progressives, so passionate about the party. He showed huge courage each time he spoke on the elders committee meeting.

Chief Adegboro was one of the most successful leader of the Progressives in the state since the party was created, by far. Everybody will be shocked and deeply saddened to hear Chief Adegboro has died.

Engr. Ade Adetimehin, APC Chairman in Ondo State recall that Chief Adegboro was someone who fought for social justice and brought courage, wit and humour to everything he did. He had many friends in the party, as he did across the political spectrum and away from party politics, Adetimehin stated.

In his tribute Engr Ade Adetimehin said “ I’m deeply saddened to hear of the death of our leader Chief Adegboro and my thoughts today are with his family, friends and party colleagues who will all be devastated by his passing. Baba Adegboro was a hugely well-respected and well-liked man. He was without doubt one of the towering political talents of his generation – a brilliant man, who deployed knowledge, experience and wit to wonderful effect”.

“Chief Adegboro devoted majority of his life to serving his Akure community, his people and his beloved Sunshine State. His passion for making our state a better place to live is his lasting legacy. I am proud to have known Chief Adegboro and our state today is the poorer for his passing” Engr Ade Adetimehin concluded.
