Why I attended Mrs Akeredolu’s Bemore Programme – Bode Olajumoke

Senator Bode Olajumoke is not a green horn in the Nigerian politics. He was once a senator under the People’s Democratic Party where he represented the people of Ondo North Senatorial District.
Olajumoke was one of the guests at the opening ceremony of summer bootcamp tagged BEMORE 2022.held in Akure.
The Summer Bootcamp programme was launched in 2017 by the Wife of Ondo State Governor, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu.
It is aimed at bridging the gender gap by empowering young girls in critical areas of science and technology.
The PDP Chieftain told the gathering that he was not at the event because he wants to join the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC).
He said, Many would be wondering why I am here. Many wil be thinking if I want to leave PDP, but I remain a PDP member”.
The astute politician said he was at the programme to identify with s good initiative and impactful programme like BEMORE.
He commended the Ondo first lady for putting in place a programme that is transforming the lives of girl-child.
