Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin has said the death of Lady Evangelist Grace Abosede Akeredolu came at the appointed time.
Reacting to the peaceful passage of the nonagenarian in Ibadan on Thursday, the party chieftain said mama lead an exemplary life that is worthy of emulation.
“It is gratifying to note that mama devoted quality time building the children, in their formative years, who grew to be successful in different human endeavors. They were sources of joy to her while she was around,” the APC chieftain added.
He commiserated with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, and all his siblings, urging them to be consoled by the rewarding life of the departed.
Praying God to grant mama eternal rest, Adetimehin noted that the Anglican Communion has lost a strong pillar in it’s quest for godly disposition.
Also, the chairman of Ondo State Media Group, Kunle Adebayo has described the death of Madam Grace Akeredolu as a great loss.
In a statement tagged “a good Mama goes home”, Adebayo said the departed represented a great pillar and succour at all times and in all circumstances.
The statement added, “In life there is a time for everything. A time to sow, a time to reap, a time to be young, a time to be old, a time for good and a time for bad, a time to be born and a time to die.

“Death of one’s dear mother, no matter the age, can be both devastating and confusing, especially when the departed represented a great pillar and succor at all times and in all circumstances.
“Though pained by this irreparable loss of your dear mama at the ripe age of 90, we know you are comforted by the well published fact of her fulfilled and fruitful life in service of God and mankind. Her renown kindness, generosity, Christian lifestyle and total devotion to the welfare of everyone around her attest to the magnitude of the loss.
“We sincerely pray to God to grant our Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, his siblings and the immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss and the grace to succesfully commit the remains of the departed to a worthwhile funeral obsequies.
