The National Executive Council of Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, Alumni Association Worldwide has congratulated the Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi on the conferment of national honour of Commander of the Federal Republic CFR on him by President Muhammadu Buhari
In a message by the National President, Dr. Adeniyi Ijogun, he said the honour is a well deserved one, and entire membership of the Alumni Association are proud to be associated with His Majesty on this new feat, which he described as a recognition of His Majesty’s distinct leadership stride as a monarch and administrator.
He also reiterated the roles played by His Majesty in the comity of traditional rulers in Yoruba land and in Nigeria as a whole, which cannot be over emphasized.
Ijogun said the monarch has also demonstrated genuine interest and commitment in the uplifting of human and community development endeavours. According to him, being an Alumnus of the prestigious Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo has never reneged in his disposition for equity, justice and unity.
He said the entire Alumni Association are very proud of him and his achievements as a worthy ambassador of “The Only School”, Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, and expressed their best wishes.
