Hoodlums attack Ondo hospital, cart away equipment

Some hoodlums have attacked a hospital in Ondo Town, Ondo State and  carted away  equipment worth millions of naira in the ancient town.

They hoodlums were said to have attacked Ileri Oluwa House of Hope Hospital  on Sunday.

The founder of the hospital, Hakeem Oyeneyin, said the incident happened on Sunday night, describing it as disheartening.

 According to him, the attacker entered through the hospital roof and window.

He noted that the hospital will be shut down pending the time the community will assure 100 per cent safety of lives and properties.

In the meantime, the State Police Command has  commenced investigation into the matter.

Spokesperson of the command, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command will get to the root of the matter.

“It was a case of burglary and we have commenced investigation into it,” the PPRO said.
