Arigidi Akoko Agog As Funmi Ayinke Foundation Empowers Hundreds of People

Funmi Ayinke Humanitarian Foundation has empowered over five hundred youths, market women, Aged and physically challenged people in Arigidi Akoko, in Akoko North West  Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Funmiayinke foundation which was established to cater for the less privileged and widows in the society is  funded over the i  years by Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo.

The Arigidi Akoko born philanthropist has been empowering a lot of less previledge  people  in the society through her initiative FHF.

The beneficiaries, numbering 500, were presented with different materials at a ceremony that was attended by several stakeholders including top political leaders in the area.

 Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo who was represented at the event by Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi, said the programme will be done regularly so that it’ll go round the community and the people will feel the impact of giving back to the society.

According to her, the programme is done to lessen the burdens on them and promised to do more.

She explained that the empowerment of the youths and women in the area is her own contribution towards reducing unemployment and poverty among her people.

She  added that the beneficiaries of the training and empowerment programmes were carefully selected.
