A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ondo State, Stephen Anuolu Olukolade is dead
Olukolade, an indigene of Idoani, died in
the early hours of Saturday 25th March, 2023 after a brief but protracted illness.
His passage was contained in a statement issued by Retired Major General Chris Olukolade on behalf of
the family
Until his death, Mr. Stephen Olukolade was a chieftain of the APC where he was a member of the Ondo State Executive Council of the party as well as a leader in Ose Local Government Area of the party.
He served in the Ondo State Civil Service and also worked as a branch Manager in the Nigeria Agriculture Insurance Corporation.
Since his retirement from public and private sector, he devoted himself to politics, farming, business and the service of God, as well as community activism.
He was an active member of the Christ Apostolic Church where he was an Elder and Choir Patron.
Solu, as he was fondly called, is survived by a wife, six children as well as grandchildren and siblings
.
The funeral arrangements will be announced by the family later.
The statement reads, “It is with deep grief but utmost submission to God’s will that we, the Olukolade family of Idoani announce the sad loss of our brother, father, husband and friend, Mr. Stephen Anuolu Olukolade, who finally passed on to glory in the early hours of Saturday 25th March, 2023 after a brief but protracted illness.”
