The Speaker of Ondo state House of Assembly accompanied by the principal officers and other members attended a special prayer and God’s intervention programme for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s quick recovery organised by St Andrew Cathedral Church at Imola area in Owo.
Prayer sessions were held at the church in the home town of Governor Akeredolu for sound health and quick recovery.
The new Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Oladiji Olamide popularly known as “Landmark” was part of the prayer session, which was also attended his Deputy Rt Hon Prince Akinruntan Abayomi; Hon Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole (Majority leader); Hon Princess Tosin Ogunlowo (Deputy Majority leader); Hon Raymond O. Daudu (Deputy Minority Leader); Hon Victor Japheth (Deputy Chief whip) among others.
While speaking at the intervention program, the Speaker urged the people not to despair, admonished the people of the state to stop peddling rumours about the health of the Governor of the State but intensify prayers to God to grant him quick recovery.
Some clergymen, Owo people and APC leaders attended the special prayer session.
