Former Deputy Majority Leader of the Senate, Senator Ajayi Boroffice has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON on the resounding triumph at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).
According to a statement issued by the Asiwaju of Akokoland on behalf of his family and supporters, the affirmation of the presidential mandate conforms with the wishes of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
The statement added, “On behalf of my family and supporters, I extend profound congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON on the resounding triumph at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).
“The affirmation of the presidential mandate conforms with the wishes of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aligns with the expectations of majority of Nigerians who voted en masse for the APC during the 2023 presidential election”.
He commended the judiciary for rising above the obnoxious distractions and intimidation mounted by opposition forces to deliver such landmark judgment that has without doubt enriched and deepened the jurisprudence in Nigeria.
Boroffice added, “I pray for renewed strength for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration in the tough task of navigating Nigeria through fundamental economic reforms with huge medium – term and long – term economic benefits for all Nigerians”
