Some People’s Democratic Party Members from Opu Nembe in Baylesa state are protesting over their inability to cast their votes on the election day.
They alleged that they were disenfranchised by rival political parties.
The aggrieved protesters who are currently protesting along the Swali Market Road, said this is unacceptable to them.
They were joined by commissioners and members of Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
They pointed out t that elections did not take place at Bassambiri, Nembe.
The protesters urged INEC to cancel any results presented from Opu Nembe.
However, the electoral body promised them that the matter will be thoroughly investigated.
