The class of the graduating students of Class 22 of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has held symposia and others to mark their graduation from the university.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Adenike Oladiji and The Dean of Student Affairs were well represented at the event.
Lectures were delivered by scholars, and successful entrepreneurs as well as old students that are breaking ground in their fields.
Speaking at the colourful event, a member of the house of representatives, Festus Akingbaso, admonished them to be prepared for the daunting challenges ahead.
Represented by Kelvin Babalola, the federal lawmaker, said efforts must be geared towards making Nigeria a better country for all.
The business mogul who is representing Idanre/ Ifedore in the house of representatives, added that Nigeria’ s problems are surmountable if we all work together as a team.
An award of excellence was presented to the lawmaker for his business acumen and contributions to the development of humanity.
The award was received on his behalf by the duo of Kelvin Babalola Anderson Tunrayo
The Chairman of the Class 22, Ayomipo George commended the federal lawmaker for his commitment to the development of mankind.
