Ondo police arrest 32 suspects in connection with communal clash

Thirty- two persons have been arrested in connection with the communal clash in Iwaro- Oka in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo state which involved three communities.

Two persons were killed in the clash which began on Sunday night.

The state commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi disclosed this when he led top police officials to the affected communities.

The affected communities are Owaki, Ebo and Oka -odo

Mostly affected by the clash is Oka-odo where some buildings were razed and property destroyed.

The police commissioner said the police should be commended for their urgent intervention in the affected areas.

He said those arrested would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
